Pat Lambie

Springbok

Patrick Lambie is a former South African rugby union player who played as a fly-half or fullback. He was born on October 17, 1990, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lambie began his professional rugby career in 2009 when he made his debut for the Sharks in the Currie Cup. He went on to play for the team in the Super Rugby competition, helping them reach the final in 2012 and 2014.

Lambie represented South Africa in 56 test matches between 2010 and 2018, scoring 153 points. He was a key member of the squad that won the Rugby Championship in 2019. In 2019, Lambie announced his retirement from rugby at the age of 28 due to recurring concussions.

โ€‹

Off the field, Lambie is known for his charitable work, particularly his support for the PinkDrive, a breast cancer awareness organization in South Africa.

Ruan Combrinck

Ruan Combrinck is a former  South African rugby player who had an impressive career as a winger. He started his professional journey in 2012 with the Lions in Super Rugby, where he showcased his exceptional speed, agility, and powerful running style. Combrinck's ability to score tries and his strong work ethic made him a valuable asset for the Lions.

In 2016, Combrinck received his first call-up to the South African national team, the Springboks. He made his debut against Ireland and quickly established himself as a key player, excelling in both attack and defense. Combrinck went on to represent the Springboks in various international tournaments, including the Rugby Championship.

Ross Cronjé

Springbok

Ross Cronjé is a South African rugby player who has had a successful career as a scrum-half. Born on July 15, 1989, in Johannesburg, Cronjé has made a name for himself with his excellent game management, quick decision-making, and precise passing skills.

Cronjé began his professional career with the Lions in Super Rugby in 2011. He quickly established himself as a reliable and dynamic scrum-half, known for his crisp distribution and ability to control the tempo of the game. His performances for the Lions caught the attention of selectors, and he earned his first call-up to the South African national team, the Springboks, in 2017.

As part of the Springboks, Cronjé made his international debut against France. He showcased his ability to link play between the forwards and backs, delivering accurate passes and making smart decisions under pressure.

 

Cronjé played a crucial role in the Springboks' successful campaign during the Rugby Championship and their historic victory in the 2019 Rugby World Cup, where he played a vital part in managing the team's game plan.

Pat Cilliers

Pat Cilliers is a South African rugby player who has had a successful career as a prop. Born on November 18, 1986, in Johannesburg, Cilliers has made a name for himself with his powerful scrummaging and strong ball-carrying abilities.

Cilliers began his professional career with the Lions in Super Rugby in 2008. He quickly established himself as a reliable and skilled prop, known for his technical prowess in the scrum and his ability to make an impact in open play. His performances for the Lions earned him recognition, and he received his first call-up to the South African national team, the Springboks, in 2012.

โ€‹

As part of the Springboks, Cilliers made his international debut against England. He showcased his strength and skill in the set-piece, providing a solid foundation for the team's scrum and contributing to their overall dominance in that area. Cilliers represented the Springboks in various international competitions, including the Rugby Championship and the British and Irish Lions series.
